Margarita Burgers

Fire up your BBQ and prepare for this taste explosion! This MargaritaBurger is sure to put your backyard grill on the map.

Ingredients:

For the Burgers


·1-1/2 lb. Ground beef

·Small onion, finely chopped

·2 Clovesgarlic, finely minced

·3 tbsp. Freshcilantro, minced

·1 tbsp. Paprika

·1 tbsp. Chile powder

·1 tsp. Cumin

·1 tsp. Oregano

·1 tsp. Allspice

·1 tsp. Ground black pepper

·1 tsp red pepper flakes


For the Marinade


·1 cup Tequila

·¼ cup lime juice

·¼ cup orange juice


Rolls


·4 Ciabatta rolls or crusty sandwich rolls

·2 tbsp. melted butter


Preparation:


1Mix all burger ingredients in a medium bowl.


2Form four patties to fit the shape of theCiabatta rolls.


3Mix the marinade ingredients into a shallow dishwhich can hold the four patties in one layer. Marinate at least two hours. Turnpatties if not covered by the marinade.


4Grill or broil patties to desired doneness.


5While patties are cooking, cut ciabatta rolls inhalf lengthways, brush the tops with the melted butter. Place under broiler forone minute.


6Place one patty in each roll. Serve with your favoritetoppings.

Garlic Butter Burgers

There are lots of ways to grill burgers and we’re alwaystrying new ways to try to make ours even better. One way of preparing them isplacing a slice of garlic-herbed butter within the burger - it adds awesomeflavor and keeps it moist on the inside.

Garlic Butter Burgers

This really isn’t a recipe, more just a method for grillingone tasty burger. Give it a try.


Step 1: Shape your hamburger patty and then make adepression in the center.

Step 2: Place theslice of herb butter in the depression.

Step 3: Mold theground beef around the butter, sealing it well so the butter won’t seepout. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4: Grill thenenjoy.


How to make garlic-herbedbutter


This easy to make garlic butter recipe is perfect for yourburger. Garlic butter will keep in the fridge, and can be made well in advance.


Makes 1/2 cup of Garlic-Herbed Butter

Garlic Butter

Ingredients:


·1 stick unsalted butter

·3 garlic cloves, crushed and minced fine

·1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

·1/4 tsp. white pepper (may substitute black)

·1/4 tsp. salt, or to taste

·1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley


Preparation:


1.Put the butter in a bowl and leave at roomtemperature until it is soft enough to work. Add all the other ingredients andmix to combine thoroughly. Using a spatula scrap the butter mixture on to asquare of plastic wrap. Shape into a log, and roll the mixture up in theplastic, twisting the ends.


2.Refrigerate until firm. When ready to use,remove wrap and slice into rounds.

Bacon Wrapped Burgers

A unique burger that you won’t find at your local burgerjoint. With rich depth of flavor, yet still deceptively simple and easy to puttogether. There is nothing like it.

Bacon Wrapped Burger

Ingredients:

For the burgers:


·1 lb. extra lean ground beef

·1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese

·Pinch each salt and pepper

·4 slices center cut bacon


For the balsamicglaze:


·1/2 cup good quality balsamic vinegar

Preparation:

1.Begin with the balsamic glaze by pouringbalsamic vinegar into a small sauce pan over high heat. Bring to a boil andreduce to medium-medium high to simmer. Stir occasionally until sauce hasreached desired thickness. 20-30 minutesshould be all you need. Once desired consistency is reached, remove from heatimmediately.


2.In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef,gorgonzola cheese, and salt and pepper until ingredients are just incorporated.Form into 4 equal-sized patties. Press your thumb down into the center of eachpatty to create a small indent. Wrap each burger with a slice of bacon.


3.Grill over medium heat beginning with the edgeof the bacon side facing down until burgers have reached desired doneness,about 5 minutes each side. Transfer to buns and add lettuce and tomato. Drizzlewith balsamic glaze.

Ingredients:


·1 ½ lbs. fresh ground beef

·1½ tsp. kosher salt, plus more to taste

·2 egg yolks

·¼ cup canola oil

·1 small leek, finely chopped

·1 small shallot, finely chopped

·½ cup heavy cream

·½ cup dry vermouth

·¼ cup finely chopped spicy cucumber pickles,plus 3 tsp. pickle juice from jar

·2 tsp. Dijon mustard

·8 slices cheese such as white or yellow American

·4 hamburger buns, lightly toasted

·Lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and pickled jalapeños,for serving

Preparation:


1.Mix ground beef with salt and egg yolks in abowl; divide meat into 4 patties about 1″ thick and place on a plate. Cover andrefrigerate 1 hour.


2.Heat oil in a 12″ skillet over medium heat. Addleeks and shallots; cook until soft, 6–8 minutes. Add cream and vermouth;simmer until thickened, 4–6 minutes. Stir in pickles, juice, mustard, and salt.


3.Set a gas grill to medium high; grill burgers,flipping them once, until cooked to desired doneness. Melt 2 slices cheese oneach burger; serve on buns with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños.

The Shiraz Burger


Who says that Ground beef can’t be sexy!

Holy mother!!!

These burgers are super juicy and retain a nice Smokey, wineflavor after grilling. The extra wine reduction drizzled on the burger was justsweet enough to perfectly balance the savory flavors.

Ingredients:


·2 cups of your favorite red wine (I used Shiraz)

·2 Tbsp. brown sugar

·1 lb. lean ground beef

·Salt

·Pepper

·Worcestershire sauce

·1 medium slicing tomato, cut into 1/2 inchslices

·Olive oil

·3 Burger buns

·3 slices of your favorite cheese


Preparation:


1.Preheat your grill to medium-high.


2.In a medium sauce pan over high heat, combinethe wine and brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.


3.Let boil and reduce to 6 Tbsp. (3/8 cup). Thiswill take about 25 minutes. Let cool to room temp, 10 minutes.


4.In a medium bowl, crumble ground beef and seasonwith salt, pepper, and a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce.


5.Add 1/4 cup of red wine reduction and lightlytoss to mix.


6.Form 3 burger patties


7.Drizzle tomato slices with olive oil and seasonwith salt and pepper.


8.Place burgers and tomatoes on the grill. Grillthe burgers to desired doneness (I typically cook both the tomatoes and burgers- 4 minutes on each side).


9.Top with a slice of cheese and remove from thegrill.


10.Place on a burger bun, drizzle the remaining redwine reduction over the burgers, and top with a grilled tomato slice and thetop bun.

Ingredients:


·1 1/2 pounds ground beef

·1/2 cup chopped green onions

·1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

·1 1/2 tablespoons minced peeled fresh ginger

·3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

·1 tablespoon dark sesame oil

·1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

·2 garlic cloves, minced

·6 (1 1/2-ounce) whole wheat hamburger buns split

·6 red leaf lettuce leaves

·6 tablespoons thinly sliced radishes


Preparation:

1.Combine first 8 ingredients. Divide the mixtureinto 6 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.


2.Place patties on the grill; grill 6 minutes oneach side or until a thermometer registers 165°. Remove from grill; let pattiesstand 5 minutes.


3.Place buns, cut sides down, on grill rack; grill1 minute or until toasted. Place 1 patty on bottom half of each bun; top eachserving with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 tablespoon radishes, and top half of bun.

Cids Caesar Burgers


These burgers are a big hit!! Very tasty and easy! The Caesar flavours inthis burger are different from the everyday Burger.

Ingredients:


·1 lb. lean ground beef

·1/4 cup Parmesan Grated Cheese, divided

·2 cloves garlic, minced

·1 cup grated cheddar cheese

·2 cups torn romaine lettuce

·1/4 cup Creamy Caesar Dressing, divided

·4 hamburger buns split


Preparation:

1.PREHEAT barbecue to medium heat. Mix meat, 3Tbsp. of the Parmesan cheese and the garlic. Shape into four patties.


2.GRILL 6 min. on each side or until burgers arecooked through (160ºF). Top with grated cheddar cheese . Continue grilling 1min. or until cheese begins to melt.


3.TOSS lettuce with 2 Tbsp. of the dressing andthe remaining 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese. Spoon evenly onto bottom halves of buns;top with patties and remaining 2 Tbsp. dressing. Cover with tops of buns.

Savory Asian Burgers

·½ English cucumber

·½ cup rice wine vinegar

·2 cloves garlic, minced

·1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, minced

·2 scallions, thinly sliced

·2 Tbsp. mayonnaise

·1 Tbsp. sriracha

·4 sesame-seed buns, lightly toasted

·¼ cup hoisin sauce


Preparation:


1.Make the pickles by combining the cucumber,vinegar, and a few pinches of salt in a bowl or jar. Set aside.


2.Preheat the grill over medium heat. Combine theground beef, garlic, ginger, and scallions. Gently shape into patties and grillfor about 5 minutes on each side.


3.Combine the mayonnaise and sriracha and spreadon the bottom buns. Spread the top buns with hoisin and then sandwich the twohalves around the burger with pickles.

Grilled Prosciutto Pineapple Burger

·250 g Lean ground beef

·1/2 tbsp. finely chopped rosemary

·1 garlic clove, minced

·3 slices fresh pineapple

·3 slices Prosciutto

·Pea shoots

·slice of Asiago

·Italian bread

·salt and pepper to taste


Preparation:


1.Mix together the rosemary, garlic, ground beef,salt and pepper.


2.Wrap the pineapple with the prosciutto. Quickly sear the prosciutto wrappedpineapple, set aside and keep warm.


3.Grill the burger to desired doneness. Place the asiago cheese on the last coupleminutes of cooking, tent with aluminum foil to help the cheese to melt. Stack it all on the bread and chow down!

Preparation:
