How to make Passion Fruit Tea like Starbucks

Bring the 8 C of water to a boil and then bring backdown to a simmer.

Add in all 8 teabags and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add in sugar and vanilla and then remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

Remove the teabags and transfer tea into a pitcher.

Cool in the refrigerator for one hour. After the tea is cooled, add in lemonade and stir.

This is truly my favorite tea drink. I find that this drink is best served on ice and I also love to add in fresh raspberries and/or strawberries, as you see fit.

As mentioned above, if you want to get fancy, you can also garnish the side of the glass with a slice of lemon, orange peel or mint leaves. The more natural flavors, the better – it’s such a refreshing drink, any time of day!

Where to buy Passion Fruit Tea and the ingredients to make your homemade version of this Starbucks favorite drink?

Obviously, you can purchase the Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea drink at any Starbucks (you can also ask for variations of it, did you know that!?) but you will find the ingredients for making your own Passion Tea at almost any grocery store. We’ve even had luck finding all ingredients at the Dollar Store, because the cheaper we can make these – the better!

Tazo Passion Tea

The most important ingredients in Passion Fruit Tea is the Tazo Passion Tea Bags which you can find in-stores and online! Tazo Passion Tea is truly the rockstar ingredient in this specialty drink, Tazo Tea is such a great addition to any of these homemade drinks. Other Tazo Tea favorites of ours include Tazo Chai Tea for a Tazo Chai Tea Latte or Tazo Green Tea. There are so many Tazo Tea flavors to choose from!

Once you have your tea ingredient selected, you can kind of customize your drink with the items you have on hand: favorite fruit, small fruits (floating raspberries are so yummy in this!), passion fruit pulp. passion fruit seeds (they are safe to eat and contain so many nutrients!), fruit juice extract, green tea leaves and more! The list goes on but as you start to make your own custom drinks at home, you’ll enjoy getting creative with the ingredients!
