Ragi Milkshake (Ragi Smoothie)
This is one drink which I made recently and I am in love with it. Great for breakfast during hot summer days, since having hot ragi malt is impossible these days. This is a cool ragi beverage made with cooked ragi which is flavoured with chocolate and badam. I have shared two flavours of ragi milkshake in this recipe post. Chocolate and badam flavour.
About Ragi Milkshake (Ragi Smoothie)
Ragi milkshake or smoothie is a healthy breakfast or brunch option for kids. It is packed with iron and calcium. This ragi smoothie taste so close to a delicious milkshake and will be a favorite for many.
The milkshake is made with cooked ragi flour which is cooled completely. This cooled ragi mixture is taken in a blender with sugar, milk, badam milk powder and blend till creamy. I even made a chocolate flavoured milkshake in which I used cocoa powder.
You will never taste ragi added in this drink unless mentioned, so it is a great breakfast option for kids. The ragi just act as a thickening agent and gives a nice creamy texture to the smoothie.
